The information included under the “Other statistics” heading refers to the statistica data for the year contained in the corresponding Annual Report, regarding various aspects of federated sport and Top Competition for the year in question.


The aspects covered include:

a) Ways to finance federated sport, according to the budgets and CSD public subsidies to Spanish Federations for the activities as federations and to the regions of Spain for their High Performance Centres.

b) Statistics on the sports results in Top Competition: medals won by Spanish sportsmen and women in different types of competition, category and national records broken during the year in question.

c) Statistical data on top competitive athletes: Spanish sportsmen and women participating in top competitions (known as DAN in its Spanish acronym); athletes who have received ADO Olympic training scholarships; others subsidized to attend High Performance Centres (CARs).

d) Statistical data on personnel and federation-led activities: members of the governing bodies of Spanish Federations; technical personnel at top competition level in the SF, state-level and international concentrations and competitions as well as international competitions organized in Spain by different types of competition..
