DEFINITION AND POWERS
The Electoral Guarantee Board is a state controlled body, organically attached to the National Sports Agency, which, in an immediate, and, as a last resort, administrative manner, ensures the legality of electoral processes in government bodies and in representation of the Spanish Sports Federations.

COMPOSITION
The Electoral Guarantee Board is made up of seven members (law graduates), from which a President and Vice-president will be chosen, named by the President of the National Sports Agency at the proposal of said Board.

Members of the Electoral Guarantee Board (JGE) will be designated by the Executive Committee of the National Sports Agency: three at the proposal of the Spanish Sports Federations; two at the proposal of the Spanish Disciplinary Committee for Sports and two more at the proposal of the President of the National Sports Agency.

They will be assisted by a Secretary, with voice but without vote, designated by the President of the National Sports Agency.

The JGE will have a four-year mandate to coincide with the years of Summer Olympic Games.
