The CSD organises the Spanish Schools Championship programmes annually. On these pages there is access to the official application, general and technical regulations, the dates and venues for competitions, as well as results and information updated as events are held throughout the year

The High Council for Sport has engaged in a series of action lines (goals, strategic axes, programmes and measures) making up the COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISE AND SPORT. One of the groups in Spanish society targeted by this programme is children and teenagers still at school

This programme, with the CSD as its co-ordinator, through the involvement of the Regions and their local corporations, attempts to articulate the greatest possible exploitation of the available resources by ensuring that these lead to the development of Schools Promoting Physical Exercise and Sports (PAFD Schools) throughout Spain. It is intended to contribute in this way to the encouragement and promotion of physical exercise and sports among our school-age children in a fundamental area for action, namely their schools.

Through the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan for Physical Exercise and Sports in 2010 and within the scope of school sports, this activity was organized to provide an epilogue for the sports promotion programmes carried out by the Regions and Self-governing Cities at schools within their remit
