Programa de atención al Sportsman high-level segment - PROAD

TheThe supreme council for sports(CSD),Ministry of culture and sport, runs the programme of care to the sportsman (PROAD) addressed to the high-level (DAN) and high-performance Athletes (DAR) of theAutonomous Communities(NATIONAL) attached to the programme, to try to respond to some of their needs a partner is the result of the commitment of the CSD for focusing and develop what stipulates in article 17Royal Decree 971/2007on high-level and high performance.

The PROAD is intended to pursue a policy ofcomprehensive care and supportour athletes and adds to the expansion of measures referred to in the new regulations and constitutes a valuable tool that works proactively, offering athletes personalized attention during his career in sport to culminate in a successful integration labour partner.

The high-level sport is a practice sportsconcern to the statebecause of the values promoted in society. It Is an essential factor in the sports development, and an encouragement to the promotion of sport, linked to the representative function of Spain in sporting competitions records of an international character.

Sportsmen and women have full dedication to this exercise, which are reachingexcellent professional attributes, motivation of achievement, teamwork, sense of commitment and responsibility, etc. However, the demands and efforts that derive from it, trainings, rallies, competitions and continuous travel sometimes an obstacle to development should be complementary career to your career.

The Programme faces these challenges with the intention to reduce its incidence and allow the athletic achievements complement to the educational attainment and professionals.
