Inclusive Games will be held on 7 october in the high performance centre (CAR) in Madrid of the supreme council for sports

Madrid, 22 september 2021.-The high council of sports (CSD) today welcomed the presentation of the first games inclusive, a sporting event driven by the Sanniti, next to the CSD, the Spanish Paralympic Committee (SCE) and the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE), which brings together olympic and paralympic athletes under regulations inclusive.

For the president of the CSD, josé Manuel Franco, “ these games will show us that inclusion is possible ”. After its appreciation to the Sanniti Foundation for his decade of work in promoting sport inclusive in Spain, the secretary of State pointed out that the CSD will have a specific budget allocation for this sport included in the Social Plan within the eur 300 million of funds of recovery, Transformation and Resilience devoted to the momentum of sport.

In addition, Franco has added that the draft bill of sport in the pipeline ” shows the commitment of the government for the integration in sport ”. “ These investments and measures will ensure that Spain will continue to be an example of diversity, and in reception and integration into the world of sport. The CSD, reflecting its commitment by the sport of persons with disabilities, has co-financed, for the first time, prizes paralympic athletes in the last Paralympic Games in tokyo. In addition, the budgets of the agency for this year has seen an increase of 375% of the funds allocated to the paralympic sport.

This investment effort has been completed with the adoption of a Social Plan for equality and inclusion equipped with $77.8 million euros for the next 3 years, framed in the funds of recovery, transformation and Resilience devoted to the momentum of sport.

For its part, the ceo of Sanniti and CEO of Bupa to Europe and latin America, Iñaki Peralta, has stated that “ Sanniti we firmly believe that sport will be inclusive or it will not. Nine sports inclusive regulations
