Athletics, gymnastics, triathlon and Judo, sports with over scholarship athletes at the residence Blume of the CAR of Madrid

Madrid, 09 August 2019.The High Council of sports, part of the ministry of culture and sport, has approved the granting of a total of 319 scholarships for residence Joaquín Blume of High Performance centre of Madrid. These aids are divided into two modes internal and external, and add 20,000 additional aid aimed at concentrations punctual to the period from 1 September 2019 and 31 July 2020.

Athletics (54), gymnastics (39), triathlon and Judo (16) are sports with the highest number of scholarship athletes in this space located in the centre of High Performance (CAR) of Madrid. After them, are Weightlifting and Fight (15), Taekwondo, swimming and Fencing (13), Karate, boxing and Hockey (12) and Badminton (11).

The list of sports with the scholarship athletes completing Rugby, orientation, table tennis, archery (10), sports people with physical disabilities (9), Golf and sports for the blind (8), Olympic Shooting (7), sports people with intellectual disabilities (2) and sports for the blind, sports people with Cerebral palsy, cycling and Squash (1). In total will be 26 sports.

Scholarship athletes can complete your workouts and reside within the CAR of Madrid during the coming months, period in which for many of them will define their participation in the Olympic Games of Tokio 2020.

The aim of these awards is to facilitate the training of Spanish athletes high competition with the possibility to reside within the CAR, with support services and with an academic advisory and monitoring, psychological or biomedical.

Along with these internal and external aid, the residence Blume offer scholarships 20,000 occasionality or journal with Spanish federations used to their specific concentrations in your own CAR of Madrid.

Canoeing (3,575), Rugby (1.9), Judo (1,850), Golf (1,550), gymnastics (1,350) and athletics (1,250), are sports with the highest number of scholarships for specific concentrations.
