Protocol for action against violence in the CSD High Performance Centres
Document prepared by the Higher Council of Sports with the aim of preventing, detecting and combating cases of violence that may occur in your network of High Performance Centres.
Violence, in any of its manifestations, is a serious form of violation of fundamental rights such as dignity, personal freedom and physical, psychological and moral integrity.
Unfortunately, it is a problem that affects people of all ages and occurs in all areas of society, especially in a more vulnerable group such as childhood and youth.
In order to prevent, avoid and combat it, Spain has promoted numerous instruments and regulations urging public administrations to regulate protocols of action in the face of possible situations of violence. These include those that can be produced in the sports and leisure fields.
To this end, the Higher Council of Sports has developed the Protocol of Action against Violence in the High Performance Centers of the CSD, applicable to all the activity, internal and external, developed by the CAR, both in the relationship with the athletes themselves, as well as with all the technical and auxiliary personnel, regardless of the type of ties, employment relationship and type of contract they maintain with the entity.
The document ignores the scope, the definition of forms of violence in order to detect them, the procedure to be followed in cases of violence and the models of declaration of principles and requests for help.
