The CSD publishes aid for the improvement and optimization of the sports facilities for the promotion of sustainable sports tourism
This line of subsidy, which has as beneficiaries to the public authorities, has been allocated eur 36 million, with which the government of Spain reinforces its commitment to sustainable sports tourism

Madrid, 30 june 2023.TheState gazette (BOE)published today by the order establishes regulatory basis for the granting of grants and subsidies of the supreme council for sports (CSD) to public entities holders of infrastructures for the improvement and optimization of sports installations and spaces that encourage sustainable sports tourism.
For projects whose plazo de ejecución is from 1 february 2020 and 30 september 2025, aid should aim to the consolidation of structures that promote gender equality, dissemination, visibility, training, energy efficiency, the digital processing and accessibility.
In order to consolidate the modernization of our tourism industry linked to sport, they will be able to benefit from these investments support all those whose objective is to the adequacy, alteration, improvement and maintenance of sports infrastructures, especially in the areas most depopulated.
The beneficiaries, totalling us $36 million euros from european funds, are public administrations which own facilities or spaces where you can develop sports tourism activities, holding these sustainable as those that involve both the movement and/or accommodation of persons to witness and/or participate in the event of a sporting practice físico-deportiva activity.
Will be supported, with a maximum amount of eur 600 000 for each grantee, those investments to the adequacy and improvement of the spaces and facilities, access and parking lots, the changing rooms and gymnasiums, rehabilitation and nursing homes, and the rooms dedicated to training. Also those investments for the improvement in energy efficiency, as well as the adequacy, adaptation and improvement of facilities that are aimed at achieving the goals of ecological transition, digitization, equality and inclusion, and of access and/or the security council.
The entities concerned shall submit a single application, containing a maximum of two bankable projects.
