
Equal in sport
It is time for action. To recognize the role of women in sport, banish stereotypes against LGBTI people and pave the way towards real equality for persons with disabilities. In all sports and all disciplines, making justice, the acceptance and respect are values that prevail in the area of sport.
The high council of sports (CSD) has launched a new institutional advertising campaign, which deepens in the “ equal in sport ” and that strengthened efforts by the government of Spain to protect three essential principles: equality, inclusion and diversity.
Under the slogan “In sport, that what matters, amount”, this campaign has an impact on these three lines of action, with so many creative adaptations. One for each claim.
Thus, the campaign is housed in a shield against discrimination towards the LGBTI collective, promoting a sporting environment where the authenticity and diversity flourish without obstacles. No less important is the inclusive look towards persons with disabilities, stressing his skill and their right to participate fully in the world of sport. The third axis is gender equality and is that the campaign also recognizes and welcomes the crucial role of women in that area.
With this approach, the CSD reflects the diversity as the main power of sport english. And it is that this must be the generation that break the shackles of discrimination and convert the playing field in an area of freedom, in which everyone has the opportunity to shine, to demonstrate his skills and their worth, without fear of discrimination.
The plan of dissemination of this campaign, funded by the european Union through funds Next Generation, provides for the issue of wedges, the insertion of spots and graphic materials in print, radio, film, digital media and foreign policy.
The piece on gender equality stresses that the athletes are only present at 8.2 per cent of the news that appear on television, demanding for greater media attention.
