Sports cooperation programmes

The Sports cooperation programmes provide the framework of cooperation. Are signed by a year and is extended automatically if none of the Agency presents interest in a new programme with other conditions, three months before its expiry.

The signature text, usually is as follows:

“ programme of Sports Cooperation between the High Council of Spain and sports ” _

Through this programme of Sports Cooperation, the High Council of sports spain and.............................. of.................. develop their relations in the field of sport and physical education, bearing in mind that both constitute a strong pillar for the strengthening of friendly relations and mutual understanding.

Both Agencies underline their interest in establishing cooperative relations sporting and their common desire to work in the maintenance of sporting principles fundamental as reflected in the Olympic Charter to contribute to building a better and more peaceful world, educating young people through sport practiced without discrimination of any kind, which requires mutual understanding, spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play. ”

Based on this, both agencies have agreed as follows:

I

The High Council of sports and.........................., confirm your willingness to continue / start the sports cooperation, in the context of their respective competences, building with priority the exchange of experiences in:

  • institutional cooperation
  • the field of science and technology applied to sport
  • la medicina esportiva
  • the fight against doping
  • sponsorship and patronage sports
  • the organization of sporting events
  • the training of specialists and managers sports
  • support programs and promotion of sport of disabled persons
  • protecting the young athlete
  • women and sport

In this spirit of cooperation, agencies signatories agree to:

  1. Gather information and exchange views through consultation on topics of mutual interest.
  2. Provide information on the experiments carried out in the area of sports equipment, planning and construction of sports facilities.
  3. Exchange information, periodicals and other sports related issues of mutual interest.
  4. Provide information on seminars, conferences and other events that may occur.
  5. Sharing knowledge, in the manner set out in the field of sports planning, legislation sports, sports medicine, doping control, etc.
  6. The High Council of sports support activities related to sport for all, sport municipal, etc. and channel their realization through the competent bodies.
  7. Support the exchange of activities between the different national sports federations.
  8. Support and cooperate in any other activity that is of interest to both agencies.

III

Both Agencies provide the following forms of cooperation esportiva:

  1. Exchanges of specialists, technicians and experts, etc, that will be aimed at training mutual and exchange of experiences.
  2. Participation in courses, seminars, symposiums and conferences organized in each country in the specialties that are of mutual interest.
  3. Collaboration in training of technical staff, administrative and professional sport.
  4. Participation of sports teams from each country, in competitions and / or workouts organized in Spain and.................., respectively.

IV

For the execution of exchanges of cooperation under this program, governed by the following financial conditions in general:

  • Transport costs international Round Trip from one country to another, until the nearest international airport to the venue of the activity, will be borne by the agency that sends.
  • The cost of the stay, lodging, food and transportation within the territory of the country, necessary medical services, as well as many other activities are programmed, the agency that receives.
  • In cases not covered in this programme, may be applied other bilateral financial arrangements, which will be previously agreed by both agencies.

V

This program provides for a period of one year after its signing, and is extended automatically if none of the agencies present interest in a new programme with other conditions, three months before its expiry.

VI

For the development of this programme will be followed by annual Calendars address specific activities to perform during the period between 1 January and 31 December of each year.

To this end, and in the last quarter of each year, the two agencies will exchange in writing the proposals of cooperative activities for the following year and shall agree on procedures for the drafting and signing of the calendar, which will be signed by the High Council of sports by its chairman or by the Director General of sports, and by................................................................................... by.........................................................................................................................
