Basketball match between FC Barcelona and Tel Aviv’s Maccabi declared high-risk

22 December 2025.- The Standing Committee of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has agreed to the declaration of high risk for the following party:

Basketball Euroleague:

• FC Barcelona – Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv
• Barcelona, 6 January 2026 - 20.30 hours

The declaration of high risk obliges clubs to adopt additional security measures in the system of ticket sales, the separation of hobbies within sports venues and the control of access to pavilions or stadiums.  

In addition, the security forces reinforce their preventive deployments, especially with regard to the surveillance of the swellings, always in coordination with all the operators involved in the celebration of the sporting event and the protection of the attendees.
