The CSD calls for grants worth 450,000 euros for motherhood, family conciliation and training of sportswomen

High-level (DAN) and high-performance (DAR) sportspeople with a federative licence in force who have been mothers in the last year, have children under three years of age or have formal academic training may benefit from them.
Madrid, 22 May 2025.- The Official State Gazette (BOE) has published this Thursday the resolution of the Presidency of the Higher Sports Council (CSD) calling for aid to women sportsmen and women in 2025.
With a total amount of 450,000 euros, these grants are aimed at facilitating the reconciliation of family, academic and professional life of high-level (DAN) and high-performance (DAR) sportswomen with a federative license in force.
Specifically, the following are offered:
- Aids for motherhood, by birth, adoption, custody for the purpose of adoption or placement, both temporary and permanent, lasting not less than one year and occurring during the year 2024.
- Aid for the reconciliation of sports and family life, for women sportsmen and women with children under three years of age enrolled in child education centers, day-care centers or cared for by caregivers during the year 2025.
- Grants for regulated academic training, covering the academic year 2024-2025, in order to initiate or continue teaching leading to the obtaining of an official degree or certificate valid throughout the national territory.
These grants underline the commitment of the Government of Spain to equality and are part of the public sports policies being developed by the CSD to promote women in sport and, in accordance with the mandate of article 27 of the Sports Law, guarantee their right to reconcile family, academic and professional life.
The deadline for submitting applications will be open from 23 May to 12 June.
