The CSD carries the convening of loans to federations to alleviate the crisis of COVID-19
Madrid, 13 july 2020.The high council of sports (CSD) has brought this year the convening of the granting of loans to Spanish sports federations (FFDDEE) in the amount of eur 1.2 million, in order to reduce the impact of the crisis caused by the health emergency of COVID-19 and the state of alarm.
Last friday, 10 july, the state gazette (BOE) published the convening, by which FFDDEE can apply for such we agree with the principles of transparency, publicity, objectivity and seek for the funding of activities of current expenditure and investments that are related to the development of their activity and are of interest to the CSD, as well as to support financing of projects to improve their economic situation.
The repayment period is 5 years, with a period of absence to 36 months which will affect exclusively to repayment of capital, and the interest rate will be the equivalent of the average rate of the debt issued by the state with maturity similar to the loan.
It should also be recalled that the 25 june the BOE published subsidies established by the CSD for aid to autonomous federations, equipment and athletes from the autonomous communities of balearic and canary islands and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla participants in official competitions of state and not professional by displacement made between 1 september 2019 to 31 august 2020. This aid programme, also, the transport of specific competition and that it is essential, if and when it comes to official competitions of statehood.
In this way, the CSD remains in force throughout its financial capacity in the area of grants and subsidies to sport english as the sports sector needs all possible economic capacity.
