With this new investment, the council for sports tries to encourage innovative solutions that increase productivity, health and safety of athletes, environmental sustainability and development of sports.

Spanish Sports Federations may submit their projects to the 31st january 2024.
Madrid, 11 december 2023.-The high council of sports (CSD) has launched new grants for Spanish sports federations to finance the development of innovative solutions that improve the performance, health and safety of athletes, environmental sustainability and, in general, to contribute to the development of sports, as published by the stateState gazette (BOE).
The new game, amounting to €6 million - from the recovery Plan, transformation and Resilience (PRTR) - will be allotted to projects submitted by the federations in areas such as:
- Analysis and improvement of the technique of athletes in specific specialties.
- Optimización and improving the design and development of sports equipment.
- Estrategias and tools for the prevention and treatment of injuries.
- Improve athletic performance by analysing biomecánicas variables and the implementation of interventions.
- Implementation of biomechanics in rehabilitation and retraining of sports injuries.
- Research, development and redesign of materials and products adapted to athletes and their specific environment.
The Sports Federations may submit their requests from today and to the 31st january 2024.
They must do so telematic way through the electronic site for sports Council (https :// sede.csd.gob.es/), together with the detailed documentation in the summons. The grants will be fully anticipated and may make at once.
CSD + i: innovation in the service of the transformation of sport
The new investment of eur 6 million convened by the CSD is part of the CSD-i initiative, launched by the council for sports to lead the transformation of the sector. Looking For channelling público-privada collaboration among all actors of sports ecosystem, such as companies, startups, public administration, sports bodies and other industries and, at the same time, energize and connect the different actors involved, thus increasing the competitiveness of spanish sport and its impact on both the athletic performance as in the economy.
Among other projects, CSD + i is contributing to the transformation of the high performance centres (CAR), the acquisition of equipment technological for the digitization of training, to the implementation ofbig dataand Artificial intelligence in sport and the digitization of económico-administrativa management sports federations.
