- These awards aim to value the effort it involves for younger athletes to combine sports with academic training, both at school and at university level.
- Applications must be submitted through the Directorates-General for Sports or competent bodies of the Autonomous Communities and Cities.
- The deadline for submission will be open until 28 March.
Madrid, 28 February 2025.- The Higher Council of Sports (CSD) has convened the CSD-Carrera Dual Awards for the year 2024, as a recognition of the dual sporting and academic merit of the young athletes of our country.
This award, first called in 2023, seeks to recognise athletes who are undergoing university training and athletes who are in the age range of high school and high school.
In this way, the candidacies will be resolved independently, among school-age athletes born between 2006 and 2009 - both of whom have been invited - and athletes who have completed university studies in the course of 2023-2024.
Applications may be submitted by the sports bodies of the Autonomous Communities and the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla, either by the Directorates-General for Sport or similar bodies, through the electronic headquarters of the CSD. The application shall include, in addition to general information, information on the training dossier and the sports curriculum in national and international competitions. The deadline for submission shall remain open until 28 March.
An evaluation committee will evaluate the nominations and select the winners based on their academic and sports excellence.
