The CSD holds a formative time to disseminate the campaign materials ‘ child sexual abuse is outside of Game

With the aim of providing professionals in the sport of theoretical and practical elements to understand the phenomenon and influence the prevention

Madrid, 24 April 2019.-The High Council of sports (CSD) held this Thursday, April 25, a formative time at the headquarters of UNICEF Spanish Committee that will publicize the campaign materials for the prevention and detection of child sexual abuse in sport ‘Child sexual abuse is outside game ’.

The day, which can be further in person and via online connection (https: / / unicefspain.adobeconnect.com / sensibilizacion), will feature the participation of professionals related to areas of the Sports sports clubs with great tradition by promoting their quarries as the FC Barcelona, the Club Characters or the Club Movistar Students.

Involves the participation of a total of 39 members of the structure of the thigh club (guardians, custodians of the residence's service sportsman and FCB Academy).

Moreover, the day will be followed by representatives of Spanish sports federations, technicians of Higher Council of sports and the network of centres of High Performance sports, autonomous communities of the General Public Safety and various educational centres.

There have been two training sessions (10.00 to 13.00 h and from 3 pm to 6 pm), consisting of two distinct parts. The first, the exhibition will combine structured contents with moments of interaction with the participants to address basic concepts in relation to their professional skills and with the profiles of boys and girls. The second part will consist of the realization of practical exercises to specific cases.

The main objective of this day formativa is to provide all participants of theoretical and practical elements to understand the phenomenon of child sexual abuse in sport and to use the campaign materials ‘Child sexual abuse is outside of Gamedriven by the CSD together with UNICEF Committee English and international agencies such as the European Union and the council of europe. The development of materials of the campaign has been led by the Children Consulting Spirals, responsible for the day.

All participants in this initiative formativa may know the content and the implementation of the guides developed within the framework of the campaign aimed at professionals, technicians and staff working with children in different levels, as well as directors and managers of sports facilities.
