The CSD increases the number of high-level

With the approved list, the number of athletes is 4.575, 1,761 2,814 men and women

Madrid, 14 july 2021.-The meeting of the technical subcommittee of follow-up to the high-level (DAN) of the supreme council for sports, has approved the second list of high-level this year. It includes 220 athletes, 125 men and 95 women, who for any of the results envisaged in the regulations in force (R.D. 971/2007 of 25 july, on high-level and high performance), and after the procedure established in the same, will be issued at the BOE shortly.

Of these athletes, 154 already bear the high-level qualification, since the deadline is five years of age, OR 7 years in case of olympic medalists, and may be renewed if they return to the merits for it. The other remaining 66 men, 32 and 34 women regain or reach for the first time this condition.

The current number of high-level amounts to a total of 4.509 athletes, 2,782 men and women 1,727. Once the BOE published in the list adopted today, the number of athletes will increase to 4.575, 1,761 2,814 men and women, to incorporate those who acquire this rating in the relationship adopted.
