The CSD recovers support for research in sports science

Madrid, 07 may 2019.The high council of sports (CSD) published today by the announcement of aid by 2019 towards the creation of “ research networks in sports science. ” That a line of financial support to the investigation had not been convened since the year 2012 and that promotes the creation of spaces for exchanges between universities.

The sub-department for Women and sport will be responsible for managing these funds, to which they could opt for both public and private Universities. Priority will be given to projects addressing issues related to women and sports, sports, physical activity and health, sports training, science citizens and new technologies applied to sport among others.

The creation of these ‘ networking ’ is an initiative of the supreme council for sports to promote the thought and research as an engine of economic and social progress. One of the main challenge is to engage the teaching excellence and research communities to assume ever more ambitious scientific challenges to keep España at the forefront of knowledge at international level.
