Ordinances of the Real Sports order of merit
The Royal Decree 1523 / 1982, 18 June, created the order of merit Real Sports with the aim of providing a public recognition to individuals and entities that have distinguished themselves visibly in the practice of sport, promoting and teaching of physical education or who have rendered eminent services in the dissemination, organization and development of physical culture and sport.
In order of 24 September 1982, adopted the regulation establishing the ordinances of the royal order of merit, which regulates the hallmarks of different categories of the royal decree, the procedure for processing of granting and treatments, rights and honors those who enter it.
The changes in the Royal Decree 1523 / 1982, 18 June, by the Royal Decree 694 / 2010, 20 May, in relation to the granting of the Right order of merit of sportsmanship that becomes competence of the High Council of sports, with the sole exception of the great cross, make it necessary to adapt forecasts the Ordinances to the current regulations.

Single Article. Changing the Order of 24 September 1982, approving the Regulations establishes the ordinances of the royal Order of merit Marina.
The order of 24 September 1982, approving the Regulations establishes the ordinances of the royal order of merit sports, is modified in the following terms:
One. Article 6 reads as follows:
"Article 6.

Two. Article 13 reads as follows:
"Article 13.
His Majesty the king of Spain is the Master of the order of merit Real Sports assisted by a Chancellor who is the secretary of Estado-Presidente of Higher Council of sports and a Junior Minister, who is the Director of Sports. The prosecutor of the Order of merit Real Sports shall be appointed by the Chancellor, on the proposal of the Vice. »
Three. Article 14 reads as follows:
"Article 14.
The secretariat of the Real Sports order of merit will correspond to a public employee of Higher Council of sports, which shall be appointed by the secretary of the council Estado-Presidente senior Sports. In the secretariat will be processed files, shall extend diplomas and certificates and will be safeguarded documents and stamps of the order and textbooks corresponding registry. »
Four. Article 16 reads as follows:
"Article 16.
1. The procedure for granting the Order of merit Real Sports will start automatically by the High Council of sports, either at the proposal of the Vice Chancellor or the order, or under reasoned motion of sports clubs, corporations sports, Spanish sports federations, the professional leagues, sports promotion agencies or corporations, entities or government agencies.
2. Corresponds to the General Director for sports the processing of granting distinctions sporting merit and raise the grant proposal to the secretary of the council Estado-Presidente Senior Sports. The proposal must be accompanied by the history of the person or entity and, in its case, justification corroborating probe the granting of distinction and Fiscal's report of the Right Order.
3. The granting of Large Cross corresponds to the Council of ministers, on the proposal of the Minister of the presidency, on the initiative of the Secretary of Estado-Presidente of Higher Council of sports.
4. The granting of the remaining distinctions corresponds to the secretary of the council Estado-Presidente Senior Sports, which will decide on the file instructed by the High Council of sports in accordance with the provisions in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article. »
Final disposal. Entry into force.
This Command will enter into force on the same day of its publication in the ‘ Official Newsletter of the state ’.
