Félix Jordán, new general manager of the founding Sport young CSD
Madrid, 2 September 2020.The Patronage of the founding Sport Young (FDJ) has agreed today the appointment of Félix Jordán of Urries Wall as a new general manager of the body. The act of inauguration today has occurred at the headquarters of the High Council of sports (CSD), in the presence of the president of the Council, Irene Lozano, and the vice president, Joaquín of Arístegui, and the rest of employers.
Félix Jordán de Urries Mur, de 36 años, cuenta con un completa y extensa preparación académica, pues es licenciado en INEF por la Universidad de Lleida, Especialidad de Gestión; Diplomado en Educación Física por la misma Universidad, y Maestro Especialista en Educación Física por la Universidad de Zaragoza.
In his career specialises in the direction, team leadership, management and planning in sports and tourism, both in the public and private sector, as well as in the field of Sports Law. Direction, management and organization of major sporting events.
His appointment comes in the context of renewal of bodies that the new management team had ceased postponed by the pandemic in the spring.
The Foundation is aimed at the promotion of sport chasing as main purposes the momentum of sporting activity as root cause of favoring habits of social reintegration and promoting solidarity; sports as a key element of the educational system, health and quality of life; participation and total integration into society from marginalized communities, and the sensory and physically handicapped; promoting citizen active participation in sport as a decisive element in the use of leisure time in contemporary society and their implantation as correction factor of social imbalances that contributes to equality among citizens.
The president of CSD and Patronage, Irene Lozano, has decorated Jiménez Alfonso with the silver medal of the royal decree to merit sports thanks to his work as General manager of the foundation from 2013.
