The government attaches to Miguel Carballeda the grand cross of the royal order of sporting merit

Madrid, 22 october 2024.-The council of ministers, on the proposal from the minister of education, vocational training and sport, Pilar Alegría, has granted this tuesday to Miguel Carballeda the grand cross of the royal order of sporting merit, the highest distinction granted by the government of Spain, in recognition of its work at the forefront of Spanish Paralympic Committee.

Miguel Carballeda off this week a period of twenty years as Spanish Paralympic Committee, from where it has worked in a loyalty to the government of spain on the momentum of our sport. Miguel Carballeda was, moreover, the promoter of two major programmes for the future of sport practised by persons with disabilities, such as Relevo Paralímpico and the programme Promises.
