Irene Lozano outlines his team in the high council of sports

Madrid, 18 february 2020. The secretary of State for sport, Irene Lozano, continues to refine the names of persons who will be part of his cabinet at the forefront of the supreme council for sports (CSD).

Among the new appointments, highlights the new director of the cabinet of the presidency, Juan María Fernández Carnicer, who so far had exercised this responsibility in the state secretariat for the european Union. Fernández Carnicer has developed part of his career in brussels, so it is very familiar with the international level, one of the CSD wants to boost in terms of sport.

In addition, it incorporates as head of the Legal regime area Angel Luis Martín Garrido, bachelor's degree in law, faculty of science Jurídico-sociales of Toledo, and a member at the time of the Technical Secretariat-General of the ministry for the transition ecological and Demographic Challenge, where played its work in the sub-department of resources, claims and relations with the administration of justice.

Moreover, Jennifer Pareja, champion olympic gold medalist in the world of water polo, continue to maintain its role as Executive adviser of the presidency for his extensive knowledge of sport, its good relations with the athletes, as well as for his remarkable link with the persons responsible for the management of sport in the different areas that are part of it ”.

In addition, the current director-General of sports, Mariano Soriano, will at the forefront of this department in it since july 2018 and that has been ratified.
