José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes visits the Luis Puig Velodrome and the Skate Park in Gandía

As a continuation of its agenda in the Valencian Community

Valencia, January 13, 2024.- The president of the Superior Sports Council (CSD), José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, visited this Saturday the Luis Puig Velodrome in Valencia and the Skate Park in Gandía.

After having shared on Friday a meeting with half a hundred women relevant in sport in the Valencian Community, the president of the CSD has dedicated this Saturday’s agenda to meet two of the most important sports facilities in the region.

Rodríguez Uribes has visited the Luis Puig Velodrome coinciding with the dispute this weekend of the Autonomous Championship of combined athletics tests. He was accompanied by the Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé; the General Director of Sports of the Valencian Community, Luis Cervera; the Councilor for Sports of the City of Valencia, Rocío Gil; and the president of the Athletics Federation of the Valencian Community, Vicente Añó.

Next, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes has gone to Gandía to meet the new Skate Park Bowl with the mayor of the city, José Manuel Prieto. This installation, one of the best in Spain of these characteristics, opened its doors to the public last December. In February it will host a competition corresponding to the Autonomous League.

"The greatness of the policy lies in the tangible facts that produce well-being for citizens, children, women's and men's sports, adults and the elderly," said the president of the CSD at the end of the visit.

This Skate Park Bowl has been funded with European Funds.
