La Laguna Tenerife - Bnei Herzliya and Valencia Basket – Hapoel de Tel Aviv basketball matches declared high-risk

9 October 2025.- The Standing Committee of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has agreed to declare the following basketball matches with Israeli teams to be high-risk:

• La Laguna Tenerife – Bnei Herzliya

  Tenerife, 14 October 2025 - 9 p.m.

• Valencia Basket – Hapoel from Tel Aviv

  Valencia, October 15, 2025 - 9 p.m.

The special security measures in these meetings are in addition to those previously agreed for the Baxi Manresa-Hapoel of Jerusalem on October 15.

The declaration of high risk obliges the clubs to adopt additional security measures in the system of ticket sales, separation of hobbies within sports venues and control of access to the stadium.

In addition, the security forces reinforce their preventive deployments, especially those related to the surveillance of the swellings, always in coordination with all the operators involved in the celebration of the sporting event and the protection of the attendees.
