Proposals for punishment of the standing committee of the state commission against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport (09/10/2020)

9 October 2020.-The standing committee of the state commission against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport, gathered at the headquarters of the High Council of sports (CSD) by correspond per turn the presidency of that collegial body, held yesterday the second meeting for the season 2020-2021.



The Standing Committee, after studying various matters within its competence, has addressed a proposal for punishment which was pending resolution since the last season under the encounter Ray Vallecano-Albacete, held on 15 December 2019. In this sense, the Standing Committee has agreed to propose a fine for the club Ray Vallecano of Madrid of 60,001 euros, due to its ‘ very serious', by failures at that meeting in relation to the control measures access spectators and not follow the provisions of government authorities to allow the introduction and deployment, at different stages of the first part of the encounter, four large banners without having previously informed the coordinator of Security and make no certificates to be undertaken with retardants.



The Government Commission against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport, through regular meetings of its Permanent Commission throughout the season, is responsible for studying and, in its case, raising proposals to sanction in connection with the incidents that have been given within the sporting competitions state.



The Standing Committee is composed of the Real Spanish football Federation (RFEF), LaLiga, ACB, the prosecutor's office of the state, the ministry of the Interior, the national police, the Civil Guard, the ministry of culture and sport through Higher Council of sports, allowing count a comprehensive approach with regard to the application of the rules and its suitability for the purposes.
