Rodríguez Uribes attends the presentation of the new season of the F League

In the last three seasons, the CSD has supported the launch of the F League with a grant of 20 million euros

Madrid, September 2, 2025.- The president of the Superior Sports Council (CSD), José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, attended on Tuesday the presentation of the new season of La Liga F, the fourth since the creation of the first professional women's league in our country.

The event, held in Madrid, brought together representatives of clubs, players, coaches, sponsors and sports authorities, in a meeting that highlighted the consolidation of women's football, a phenomenon that has been promoted by the Government of Spain as a motor for the development of equality through sport.

In the last three seasons, the Higher Sports Council (CSD) has supported the launch of the F League with a grant of 20 million euros.

In addition, through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, it has promoted the improvement of the infrastructures of the clubs, with a call of 18 million euros, to which is added the subsidy worth 1.5 million for the independent clubs that militate in the highest category.

The F League will have the participation of 16 teams in the 2025/2026 season, which will play the title over 30 days between August 30 and May 31.
