The High Council of sports within its comprehensive Plan to physical activity and sport, has presented the 2009, in the area of Equality between women and men develops various actions including support for the race circuit of women.

For this purpose, as a novelty to accompany a set of Circuitactions to enhance the promotion of physical activity and sport among womensuch as:

• Reconocimientos-Galardones to highlight significant biographies of women around the promotion of physical activity and sport in each city, and may have remained these in the absolute anonymity.
• Materials on coeducational strategies in the field of physical activity and sport for trainers (Pafic-promoción Guide physical activity in Girls), co-edited by institute of women of the ministry of equality and the High Council of sports.
• Edition of the magazine D WOMAN specific to each of the sites.
  • • Article on the history of women in sport
    • Compendium of biographies on women winners of the competition on women's lives with a meaningful involvement in the promotion of physical activity and sport.
    • Local Agenda in sport and equality.
    • Manifesto for equality and women's participation in sport, submitted by the CSD.
    • Information on the entire Race Circuit of women.

Moreover, there will be a working group between different cities, headquarters of the race to address both an annual meeting between them of good practices in the promotion femenine sportive and with the collaboration of local universities, the establishment of a working group on the history of women in sport to highlight in the coming years local history of each seat in this area.




Lourdes García Fields was commissioned to lead the ceremony with the presence of Martin Fiz and as such prominent atletas-madrinas Marten Domínguez, Nuria Fernández, Ana Romantic, Eva Ngui, Tamara Sanfabio and Lucrecia Left-Handed.

The secretary of state for sport, D. Jaime Lissavetzky, also was accompanied in this presentation by Dña. Showpost.php Seara, director of the Institute for women of the ministry of equality, which works to promote female sports.
