Víctor Francos attends the submission of the tournament 3x3 URBAN FEST Copa Centenary

Barcelona, 19 july 2023.The president of the supreme council for sports (CSD), Víctor Francos, has visited this wednesday, the headquarters of the federació Catalana d Basketball (FCBQ). There has had the opportunity to learn the model of management and operation of the entity, accompanied by its president, Ferran Aril, and by the vice-president and president of the commission of the centenary of the Catalan Basketball, Pere Francitorra.

During his visit, Francos has known the planned activities to mark the centenary of the Catalan Basketball (1923-2023).

Emphasizes the organization of the URBAN 3x3 FEST, a Cup tournament to be held on 22 july in Paseo de Gracia and which has been presented today.

In his speech, Víctor Francos has highlighted the importance of sport as a “ element of transmission of values and social cohesion ”, while it recognized the good work done during these 100 years by the FCBQ.
