The CSD calls for aid to local corporations for works in sports infrastructures
｟<x_8/>｠ The works must be related to the celebration of competitions of international character
Madrid, 12 May 2025.- The Higher Sports Council (CSD) has announced grants of EUR 555,160 to local authorities and municipal public companies for the construction of sports infrastructure works between 1 January 2025 and 30 November 2026.
To access this call, the adaptation works must be related to the celebration in 2025 or in subsequent years of international competitions, which are part of the official calendars of the Spanish sports federations and the corresponding international sports federations.
These events are considered of general interest.
To contribute to its successful organization and to facilitate that they can be held in facilities whose conditions are optimal, the Superior Sports Council offers this aid in the amount of 555,160 euros aimed at local corporations and municipal public companies.
Among the eligible expenses are:
- The adaptation and improvement of sports spaces and facilities.
- The adaptation of dressing rooms and other complementary spaces to support sports activity, such as gyms, rehabilitation and nursing rooms, as well as residences and rooms intended for training.
- The adaptation, adaptation and improvements of the facilities whose result implies an improvement in the achievement of the objectives of ecological transition, digitalization, equality and inclusion, accessibility and/or safety in the facilities.
The deadline for the submission of applications ends on 28 May.
