The CSD explores the input of associations and Unions of sportsmen the draft bill of sport

Madrid, 26 April 2019.The High Council of sports (CSD) continues to work on the contributions made to the bill of sport adopted by the cabinet on 1 February. The General manager of Sports, Marian Soriano, has met at the headquarters of the board with representatives of associations and unions of athletes to study your suggestions.

The meeting is part of the revision process of the outline with actors of sport that already started with the Paralympic Committee English, and which will be continued with the rest of actors. The goal is to enrich the legal text with the input of actors in the world of sport.

At the meeting have been present members of the association of Professional Basketball (ABP), the association of handball players (AMBM), the association of handball players (AjBM), the association of water Sports (ADA), as well as the association of Professional Cyclists (ACP). It has developed in an atmosphere of cordiality and mutual understanding and has decided to make a second meeting which will take place in the coming days.

After the period of hearing and public information the CSD has received a total of 151 input to the draft bill of sport.

Most of them reflected different viewpoints on articles that make up the text, although there are also focused on make proposals for inclusion of different subjects.

In the coming days the CSD will continue with the detailed study of all contributions received and with the round of meetings already started with the objective of developing a final text with the greatest possible consensus.
