The CSD presents the collaboration of the founding Sanitas with the programme Sport Inclusive

  • The programme Sport inclusive, driven by the CSD seeks to promote joint sports between people with and without disabilities as a tool for their social integration and is declared as event of exceptional public interest (AEIP)

The High Council of sports (CSD) today introduced the collaboration of the founding Sanitas with the programme Sport inclusive, an initiative that aims to promote joint sport practice between people with and without disabilities as a tool to facilitate their integration into society and cataloguing event of exceptional public interest (AEIP).

The collaboration of the founding Sanitas materialises in aid for the financing of the championships of Spain in school age (CEASES) convened by the CSD. Along 2019, have participated in the organization of the Inclusive CEASES swimming, Tennis, field through, Rugby 7, Triathlon and badminton.

In the presentation the president of CSD and secretary of state for sport, María José Free, has grateful to this entity their involvement in the training of young people, a space “ whenever you will find the CSD, because we understand that is the basis for further growth ”, has assured.

“ We are very proud of having the founding Sanitas. Have been one of the first collaborators within the program Sport Inclusive and help the sport basis through the championships of Spain in School age. It is also with training programmes and will help us to understand much more different capabilities that can be and that are needed to integrate into our society ”.

Similarly, the president of the CSD reminded that sport inclusive is one of the most important lines of work for this Government. "The draft bill of sport, in which we continue to work, has as one of its main objectives sport inclusive. For us the inclusion is necessary, we see a better society, ” said.

The presentation has enjoyed the presence of the founding director general Sanitas, Yolanda Erburu.

Events of Exceptional Public Interest

The programme Sport Inclusive is one of the four sports projects that drives the CSD, part of the ministry of culture and sport, which has been recognized as event of exceptional public interest (AEIP). Also have this recognition ADB2020, new Goals and Sport Inclusive. Are tools that make grow sport while transform society, making it fairer, more egalitarian and more inclusive.

Seeks to promote joint sports between people with and without disabilities as a tool for their social integration and includes the launch of initiatives related to building sporting activity that promote the inclusion and integration in sport, with particular interest in persons with disabilities.
