Faulty prizes national sport 2018
Madrid, 27 February 2019.-The jury national sport has met today in the High Council of sports to decide the awards for the year 2018. These awards, convenes annually CSD, aim express appreciation of persons and entities, either by their direct activity or personal initiative, either as stakeholders in the development of the sports policy, have contributed significantly to drive or disseminate físico-deportiva activity.
The secretary of state for sport, María José Free, after the outcome of the deliberations of the jury, has appreciated his work and has said that “as every year, it becomes difficult to choose given the quantity and quality of all nominations in different categories. Congratulations to all nominations and all the winners because beyond its undeniable successes and sporting merit, hold great values of sport English ”.
The jury, chaired by Marian Soriano, general manager of sports of CSD, has been formed by Juan Gallant Ignacio (Director of “brand ”), Akpan Villarejo (sports Director of the agency EFE), Round Desperate (president of the Association of the sporting press), mike Carballeda (president of the Spanish Olympic Committee), Isabel Fernández (first vice president of the Spanish Olympic Committee), Jennifer Couple (advises the president of the CSD), Nuria Garatachea (deputy director of woman and sport of CSD), maría Escario (director of Radio communication Spanish Television), Anabel Medina (tennis player, Olympic medallist), Theresa Zabell (remarkable sport, twice Olympic champion of sailing), and as secretary, Enrique Ramón (external relations director of CSD).
The decision of the jury has been as follows:
Last Reply King-prize: to reward the most Spanish sportsman has been distinguished during the year in its action sports, both nationally and internationally. Winners: ex aequo Regino Hernández and Raaj Valverde
The Joy Queen-prize: To reward the most Spanish sportsman has been distinguished during the year in its action sports, both nationally and internationally. Awarded: Joana Pastrana
- Prize King Juan Carlos: to reward the male or female athlete that by the results obtained during the year has brought more meaningful disclosure sports landscape. Awarded: Aleppo Ana
- Prize Queen Sofía: To reward the person or entity that more has highlighted during the year by a gesture particularly relevant of nobility or fair play in sports, or who has provided a special contribution to the eradication of violence in sport. Awarded: Sabrina Gutiérrez Valley
- Prize Princess Leonor: to reward the / the sportsman, under 18, most has highlighted during the year, by their progression. Awarded: Salma Paralluelo Ayingono Sky
- Prize Infanta Sofía: To reward the person or entity that by its own performance sports or by building the activity of other has highlighted especially in the dissemination and improvement of sporting activity among the disabled physical, psychological or sensory. Awarded: Founding Sanitas
- Trophy Ibero-American Community: to reward the Ibero-American athlete most has highlighted during the year in their international sporting events. Awarded: Yulimar Red
- Glass Baron of Güell: To reward teams or national teams that more have stood out for their sports performance during the year. Awarded: Spanish football selection feminine sub 17
- Glass Stadium: To reward the person or entity that has distinguished for his particular contribution during the year to advocacy and promotion of sport. Winners: ex aequo Real College Madrid-Universidad Ecomar European and Founding
- Prize Higher Council of sports: To reward the Spanish local entity that more has highlighted during the year for their initiatives for the promotion of sport, either in the promotion and organization of activities, either in the strength of sports facilities. Rewarded: Municipality of Don Benito
- Trophy Joaquín Blume: To reward the university or school that has been distinguished especially during the year by their advocacy and promotion of sport. Awarded: University of Jaén
- National Award to the arts and sciences Applied to sport: To reward the professional who in the exercise of their activity has highlighted by a work or has helped propel or disseminate físico-deportiva activity of unique form or throughout his professional life. Rewarded: COLEF (General Council Official college graduates in physical education)
- National Award Francisco Fernández Ochoa: To reward the trajectory of a life dedicated, so visible, to practice, organization, management, promotion and development of sport. Rewarded: Juan Carlos Navarro
