Proposals for sanction by the Standing Committee of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport
Madrid, 10 February 2025.- The Standing Committee of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport, meeting this Monday at the headquarters of the Higher Council of Sports (CSD), has agreed on various proposals for sanctions, including:
Proposals for sanctions against clubs:
Proposal for a sanction of 3.001 euros to Málaga CF due to deficiencies in the control measures of access and permanence of spectators by not preventing the introduction of several cans of beer with alcohol, containers with the consideration of unauthorised objects when they can be used as arrogant elements during the meeting: MÁLAGA CF SAD – REAL ZARAGOZA SAD
Amateurs' proposals for penalties:
- Proposals for a penalty of 30,000 euros and a ban on access to sports venues for a period of 18 months for three individuals who, after finishing the match, in the immediate vicinity of the Z gate of the stadium, followed and subsequently attacked two local fans with violence on the occasion of the meeting: ATLÉTICO DE MADRID–SK SLOVAN BRATISLAVA F
- Proposals for a penalty of 5,000 euros and a ban on access to sports venues for a period of 12 months for two individuals who, at around 21 h, in front of a venue located at door 46 of the stadium, starred in a fight, making necessary the intervention of the police to separate them during the meeting: ATLÉTICO DE MADRID–SK SLOVAN BRATISLAVA F
- Proposals to sanction 4,000 euros and ban access to sports venues for a period of 12 months for two individuals who, being part of a large group of local amateurs who, at the intersection of Julio Álvarez Street with the parking of the stadium, altered the order by throwing objects and violently attacked the safety cord established by the police at the meeting: UP LANGREO – REAL AVISAD
- Proposal to sanction 4,000 euros and ban access to sports venues for a period of 12 months for an individual who, after the end of the match, refused to leave the stadium and challenged the police officers deployed there on the occasion of the meeting: ATHLETIC CLUB – REAL MADRID CF
- Proposals for a penalty of 3.001 euros and a ban on access to sports venues for a period of 6 months for 8 individuals who, together with a large group of local amateurs, altered the order at the intersection of Julio Álvarez Street with the parking of the stadium, throwing stones and trying to overcome the safety cord established at the meeting: UP LANGREO – REAL AVILÉS INDUSTRIAL
- Proposals for a penalty of EUR 3,001 and a ban on access to sports venues for a period of 6 months for 26 individuals who, together with a large group of local amateurs who concentrated at the stadium’s doorstep on Sweden’s Avenue, threatened and severely insulted amateur visitors and also the police there deployed on the occasion of the party: VALENCIA CF SAD – REAL MADRID CF
- Proposed sanction of 3.001 euros and prohibition of access to sports venues for a period of 6 months for an individual who, from the Este-Sur corner area, launched a bottle of water to a visiting player without reaching him on the occasion of a match: REAL OVIEDO SAD – CÓRDOBA CF SAD
- Proposal for a penalty of EUR 3,001 and a ban on access to sports venues for a period of 6 months for an individual who, at Stadium Gate 6, tried to access a can of beer hidden between his clothes and, being warned of the ban on access to the stadium with this type of packaging, repeatedly insulted the vigilante on the occasion of the party: SD LOGROÑÉS SAD – ATHLETIC CLUB
- Proposals for a penalty of 3.001 euros and a ban on access to sports venues for a period of 6 months for 3 individuals who, inside the stadium, were surprised to consume alcoholic beverages on the occasion of the match: MÁLAGA CF SAD – REAL ZARAGOZA SAD
- Proposals for a penalty of 3.001 euros and a ban on access to sports venues for a period of 6 months for 2 individuals who, located in the central gallery, turned to the VIP club and showed great aggressiveness severely and repeatedly insulted the occupants of the club on the occasion of the match: VALENCIA CF SAD – REAL MADRID CF
- Proposed sanction of 2,000 euros and prohibition of access to sports venues for a period of 4 months for an individual who, showing symptoms of intoxication, aggressively interrupted the police officers who performed an intervention inside the stadium on the occasion of the match: CD MINERA – REAL MADRID CF
About the Antiviolence Commission
The State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport is a collegiate body responsible for the formulation and implementation of active policies against violence, intolerance and the avoidance of racist, xenophobic and LGBTI practices in sport.
The Standing Committee, which meets on a biweekly basis, is composed of representatives of the High Council of Sports, the Ministry of the Interior, the National Police Corps, the Civil Guard, the Real Federación Española de Fútbol, LaLiga and ACB and the Office of the Attorney General of the State.
