Submitted the ‘ intervention Guides practice, young woman and physical activity ’
Madrid, 27 September 2019.The secretary of state for sport and president of CSD, María José Free has presided today the presentation of the ‘ intervention Guides practice, young woman and physical activity ’, developed by the founding Spain active, whose president, Jaime Lissavetzky, has accompanied Free in this event.
María José Free has put in value these guides “because they make a diagnosis that serves to decide where we want to go ”, stressing the importance of sport as a tool for social transformation and to combat inequality among teenage boys and girls:“ sport helps us grow as a society and as a country, therefore form part of sustainable development objectives 2030, ” which, among others, is real and effective equality between the sexes.
These guides have formed part of a study that the foundation conducted in collaboration with the university King Juan Carlos and the foundation Mapfre, with conclusions that confirm that there is a gender gap among adolescents to practise physical exercise. In the document presented today, proposes therapies to pursue inequality, something that in the words of María José Free, “are the key to the motivation of weight to encourage people to do sports ”.
In the presentation have participated, besides Lissavetzky; the director of research area of the founding Spain active, Alfonso Jiménez, who has given details of the guides; the White athlete Hervás, and the responsible for health promotion of the founding Mapfre, Raquel Manjón.
