El conference of sport
The law 10 / 1990, 15 October, sport, is the overarching policy framework that underpins the legal regulation of sport at the national level. Already in its Article 2, within the general principles, said that the state will coordinate with the autonomous communities in the exercise of its powers.
In this sense, Article 8 to specify the powers that correspond to the High Council of sports (CSD), reflected in some of its sections specific references to coordination, collaboration and cooperation that must exist between the agency and the remaining public administrations, mainly the autonomous communities. And both on the general sporting activity (article 8 h); as the programming of the school and university sports (article 8 (j); for building plans and improvement of sports facilities (article 8 k); or the census of sports facilities (article 8 (n).
The desire that there is adequate coordination is evident in the continued contacts that have been maintaining since CSD with those responsible in sport autonomous communities and cities with autonomy statute. The Result of those contacts, during the meeting held on 14 November 2008 agreed institutionalizing a coordination forum, carried out the constitution of the Territorial Conference for sport and approving the internal rules of operation.
