The State Commission against Violence in Sport declares three football matches at high risk
- The declaration of high risk obliges the organizers to adopt additional measures in the control of access, ticket sales and the distribution of rival hobbies
20 January 2026.- The Standing Committee of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has agreed to the declaration of high risk for the following football matches:
- Athletic de Bilbao – Sporting de Portugal
- Bilbao, 28 January 2026 - Champions League
- Real Betis – Feyenoord
- Seville, 29 January 2026 - Europa League
- Cultural and Sports Leonesa– Deportivo de La Coruña
- Leon, January 31, 2026 -Second Division
The declaration of high risk obliges clubs to adopt additional security measures in the system of ticket sales, the separation of hobbies within sports venues and the control of access to pavilions or stadiums.
In addition, the security forces reinforce their preventive deployments, especially with regard to the surveillance of the swellings, always in coordination with all the operators involved in the celebration of the sporting event and the protection of the attendees.
