The CSD considers ADESP a fundamental ally in the development of projects from European funds

• During a meeting by videoconference, the president of the Higher Sports Council, Irene Lozano, has conveyed to the president of the Spanish Sports Association, José Hidalgo, the importance of her organization in the implementation of those actions that the Government will set in motion in favor of sport in our country thanks to European funds

Madrid, 26 February 2021.- The president of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), Irene Lozano, held this morning a meeting with the president of the Spanish Sports Association (ADESP), José Hidalgo, to which she has transferred the key role that her organization has in the development of the projects from the European funds that are going to be launched in the next months in the field of sport.

This meeting, held by videoconference, is the first that Lozano holds with sports leaders in our country after the high-level presentation of the projects that took place this week before the European Commission. In this way he wanted to make clear the importance of ADESP, an association that groups most of the Spanish federations, in the implementation of those actions that the Government is going to implement in favor of sport in Spain with European funds.

The Higher Sports Council aims that this money is destined to different projects elaborated on the basis of clear master lines such as digitalization, ecological transition, equality and internationalization.
