Free: “ education is the best weapon of prevention to the fight against doping ”

Madrid, 10 December 2019.The headquarters of CSD has welcomed today the first meeting of this working group to the drafting of recommendations on educational programmes and outreach initiatives for the prevention of drug use and the promotion of clean sport in the area of the board of Europa.

The conclusions reached after two days of meetings will continue to cooperate with the World Anti-Doping Agency in the implementation of the standard of education and development guides will shortly be binding on all signatories to the World Anti-Doping Code.

For the president of the CSD, the fact that Madrid hosts this first meeting of this panel of Spanish Agency “ is a further demonstration of the commitment of Spain by the development of educational programmes to prevent behaviour prohibited in sport ”.

The AEPSAD has been developing over recent years various educational programmes and actions of campaigns aimed at different collectives (top athletes and their environment, high performance Centres, health professionals, secondary school teachers, coaches, …) with the aim of preventing doping and promote sport clean.
