María José Free opens the “ good practices Coeducational in physical education ”

Madrid, 21 November 2018.La Higher Council chairperson of sports, María José Free, today opened the “ Good Practices Coeducational in physical education ”, an initiative of CSD in collaboration with the ministry of the presidency, relations with the courts and equality and the institute for women, which aims to provide adequate training mechanisms to convey gender equality and opportunities through sport to those responsible for the autonomous communities trainers in physical education.




The secretary of state for sport has emphasized the importance of tools to facilitate the autonomous administrations to bet on education with a gender perspective and equality in sport between men and women, as shown by the last meeting of the sport Sectoral Conference held last 23 July. "We have to give tools, train such trainers so that in these early ages to be able to transmit the egalitarian values. This course, promoted by the General office Woman and Sport of CSD, provides tools to these trainers through strategies and patterns to promote equal opportunities and the elimination of stereotypes between boys and girls in physical education.
