María José Free: “ the work of coaches is fundamental in our system sporting and should claim and prestige work ”

• 29 11 courses craft sports modalities in the CSED in the coming days

Madrid, 04 October 2018.The president of the High Council of sports, María José Free, accompanied by the general manager, Marian Soriano, has opened this morning the academic year of College Sports lessons (CSED), the training centre of coaches of Higher Council of sports.




The secretary of state for sport has presented the oferta formativa of CSED scheduled for this quarter. It is 29 courses of 11 different sports modalities including chess, gymnastics, weightlifting, padel tennis, rugby, tennis, archery, badminton, hunting, triathlon and struggle.




María José Free has taken the opportunity to highlight the importance of coaches in our system of sport. “ We must prestige and claim the work of our trainers. They are not only responsible for the Success of our athletes, but also of the values that transmit every day, wherever they go. I that I have been athlete can say that guide us, infecting us motivate us the passion for sport, providing wealth to all our environment and ultimately to all citizens, ” said.




The president of CSD has placed special emphasis on the importance of the public nature of CSED: “ We are very proud that it is a public center, because this quality training will reach all corners of Spain. ”




María José Free has valued, also, the work of the sports federations, key figures in the preparation of technicians. “ Training of trainers must go hand in hand of sports federations. They Are a key component of our sports gear that allows us to identify the needs of our athletes. ”

Dignitaries, in addition to the president of CSD, the director of the CSED, José Luis Sánchez; Santiago saints, selecting national Rugby male XV, and the director of CSD, Marian Soriano.




Sánchez has highlighted the evolution of CSED, saying that “ has grown from 2015 to reach train 100 guardians and 2,000 pupils. ” Has also highlighted “ excellence and quality of the centre, whose center is the pupil, and with the aim of developing leaders is for sport basis, the of sophistication, or the high yield ”.

The College Sports lessons (CSED) is the centre of technicians of Higher Council of sports. The CSED was born in 2016 and has trained more than 2000 pupils, including high-level athletes and high performance.




The mission of CSED as public centre is the technical training of prestige and building a culture of lifelong learning in the Spanish sport system.
