More than 100 people involved in the working day on centres of high performance and Sports Technicization

Madrid, 19 February 2019.-The High Council of sports (CSD) has been chosen to celebrate during the day yesterday a working day on high performance Centres (CAR) and Sports Technicization (CTD). It was attended by more than a hundred people between representatives of sports federations and different centers throughout Spain.




The event, which was opened by the president of CSD, María José Free and closed by the director General, Marian Soriano, has served to reiterate the bet of CSD by the network of centres of this type that exist in Spain. So stated Joanne Mardaras, subdirector General of Promotion and innovation Esportiva, who has reminded us that the outline of the new law of sport provides the classification of CAR and CTD, and that in budgets submitted by 2019 envisaged a chapter of investment worth one million euros, in addition to one million two hundred thousand more to sports activity.




In addition, attendees boarded the current situation of the network of centres of the state and shared the importance of providing with new investments to improve its performance. Today the network comprises 56 Centres: 4 CAR, 8 Specialized Centres of high performance (CEAR), 13 and 31 CTD Centres specializing in Sports Technicization (CETD) in which develops 310 sports programmes with around 9,000 athletes from all categories.




Along the working day four tables of discussion focused on the international association of this type of facilities in transversal areas that affect them, in its management, and in the use given by the Spanish federations. In Addition, attendees had the opportunity to know the facilities of the CAR of Madrid, while the residence Joaquín Blume.




International models




The first panel which took place focused on explain the workings of the international association of high performance Centres (ASPC) and attended by the directors of the CAR from San Cugat, Ramón Terrace, CAR lion, Daniel Mateos, and the CAR of Sierra Nevada, Alfonso Sánchez.




This event served, moreover, to discuss the global forum that this partnership will be held in the month of October in Barcelona.




Horizontal policies




Another of the tables covered health protection of the sportsman, the dual career, and disability and inclusion. The rapporteurs were the Deputy Director General for Women and Sport, Nuria Garatachea, responsible for the PROAD, Ana Ruth Domínguez, the director of the Spanish Agency of health protection in sport (AEPSAD) Joe Luis Sand, and the director of Paralympic Committee Spanish Jofre Approach.




All of them addressed transversal policies to be implemented and improve in the training centres. Furthermore, shared experiences of each in relation to the subjects dealt.




Management models



With regard to the table focused on management models, discussed four centres recognized by the CSD and for this involved primarily responsible for the same: Gonzalo Gobert, director of the Specialized Centre for technicization Esportiva (CETD) Ricardo Tormo engine of Cheste; Javier Navarro, director of the Christian Infanta “ CTD ” of Murcia; Carmen Maldonado, manager and coordinator of the program for technicization of High Mountain CETD of Benasque; Isabel Å Castle, head of the service of planning and promotion of sport of CTD of Trasona and National CTD.




The day allowed to inform the various centres present the experiences of each of the rapporteurs. There was talk of exchanges and policies to improve coordination between the different actors involved in the management of the centres: Spanish federations autonomous and the Autonomous Communities and the very CSD.




Users of the centres




The Final table of the day was centered on the use of installations sports federations. The president of the Spanish Federation Real canoeing, Juan José Román, put an example of good use its organization makes different centers for technicization and high performance in those involved.




Among the speakers was also the national sorter rhythmic gymnastics, Anna Baranova, and the trainer Sara Bayón. Both put in value the importance of services of the CAR of Madrid to facilitate the requirement workouts.




Moreover, intervened launcher Tobalina Carlos weight, who is trained in the CAR lion and that used to explain its experience in a centre of these characteristics and the importance for their performance.
