Real Madrid and the council for sports drive a large supply of sanitary materials in the Santiago Bernabéu

Madrid, 26 march 2020.-The Real Madrid football Club, in collaboration with the council for sports and through the ministry of culture and sport, sets up a project in Madrid for the provision and distribution of strategic health inputs aimed at fighting the COVID-19.

Thanks to the close collaboration of these two institutions, the Santiago Bernabéu stadium is transformed into a space adapted to store the donations from health inputs aimed at fighting this pandemic.

This material will be delivered to the spanish sanitary authorities, under the authority of the government of the state, so as to ensure optimal use and these resources efficiently, as necessary in the light of the current health emergency.

In addition, the madrid club provided to the entities and businesses, especially those related to sport, the possibility of reaching this centre monetary donations or material that they wish to inform the ministry of health. This mechanism will be complementary to those who, for similar solidarity, can enable the government.

The ministry of health will be, through the mechanisms already in place and always under the supervision of the main focus of health input located in the madrid town of Valdemoro, responsible for allocating grants to institutions and entities that need them most.
