The spanish athletes can receive financial support of various public or private institutions (clubs, federations, autonomous communities, the supreme council for sports, Olympic Committee English, Spanish Paralympic Committee etc.). In the area of State/Council for sports there are currently the following programmes of economic assistance to sportsmen and women:

> > > SCHOLARSHIPS CSD TEAM SPAIN: The CSD attaches such aid athletes and trainers for the preparation, which must be requested by the Spanish Sports Federations respective according to annual appeal. The required criteria listed in annex I to the Resolution of the presidency of the supreme council for sports, on aid Policy for athletes participating in international competitions records representing Spain, granted by the Spanish Sports Federations, available on the link at the beginning of this paragraph.

> > > AID CSDFOR SPORTS RESULTS: The CSD attaches such aid athletes by international results must be requested by the Spanish Sports Federations respective according to annual appeal. The required criteria contained in annex II to the Resolution of the presidency of the supreme council for sports, on aid Policy for athletes participating in international competitions records representing Spain, granted by the Spanish Sports Federations, available on the link at the beginning of this paragraph.

> > >SUPPORT FOR THE SPANISH ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS: Must be requested by the Spanish Sports Federations respective according to annual appeal.

> > >AID TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL PROTECTION OF DAN THE COST OF THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY CONTRIBUTIONS: Must be requested by the Spanish Sports Federations respective according to annual appeal.

> > > SPAIN ELITE TEAM: The CSD attaches such aid for the preparation and olympic paralímpica, which must be requested by the Spanish Sports Federations respective according to annual appeal. The required criteria for a sportsman or equipment is classified in one of the Programmes that are included in Resolution of the presidency of the CSD, classified sport programmes TEAM SPAIN ELITE Spanish Sports Federations, are available on the link at the beginning of this paragraph.

> > > PROGRAMMEADOP: Provides scholarships to athletes and their trainers for the support of the preparation paralímpica.

In addition, and through subsidies that the CSD granted to Spanish Sports Federations, are funded programmes of their own in-aid and those that have developed.

Athletes can receive other private or institutional support, depending on their clubs, municipalities, autonomous communities, etc. The Latter also tend to have their own programmes of economic assistance to sportsmen and women.
