0 AMBITO OF APLICACIÓN

This Rule is applicable Regulatory in pools containing pits for the practice of jumps and where you are going to celebrate competitions of the Spanish Federation Real swimming, in their modes of diving and platform. it's jurisdiction of such Federation the approval of each installation for the organisation of official competitions jumps.

This document has been produced with the purpose of normalizing regulatory aspects of any facility able to practice this sport, which took into account the current regulation of the Real Spanish Federation swimming (R.F.E.N.) and the Existing international Rules.

In construction projects or pools reform jumps to be certified will include this requirement in memory and the solicitation techniques and their amount in the budget, but shall be prerequisite having obtained the approval to perform the receipt of the works.

1 SITE

The pits of jumps will be included in a pool complex, which is a Useful aquatic facilities for recreation, physical education and training or sporting competition of children, youth and adults.

The pits of jumps to the high competition will be preferably included in indoor pools, since the sports training requires a continuity of use throughout the year that is independent of the most adverse weather conditions.

The pits of jumps cannot simultaneously use with the training OR competition of swimming, synchronized swimming, or water-polo lifesaving and rescue.

Jumping pits along with their outer bands can be grouped with swimming vessels and its outer bands forming a single compound. Should be isolated, in its case, paddling vessels and teaching (See regulationsSplashandEducation). Will be protected the scope of prevailing winds that upset the jumpers, as well as the proximity of Trees or deciduous plantations which can contaminate vessels. There are No shadows dropped on the glass or diminish that hide solar action.

2 TRAMPOLÍN BREAKS

The trampolines will be installed one and three meters on the level of water. Have a minimum of 4.80 dimensions m length and 0.50 m wide, will be coated with a non-slip surface and equipped with mobile fulcros easily adjustable in the pogo.

The vertical distance from the level of the platform that supports the fulcrum of springboard and the top level of the springboard must be of 0.365 m. The distance between the front edge of the fulcrum roller (which is 0,676 m long) to the front edge of the platform support must be a maximum of 0.68 m if the front edge of the platform is planned ahead of this point, the top of the platform,
from this point, you must have a downward slope at a ratio of 1 vertically on 3 horizontally. The recommended minimum distance from the back to the axis of the fulcrum will recommend the manufacturer of the springboard.

The trampolines must be placed on one side or on both sides of the platform. For synchronized jumps is preferable, at least two trampolines of the same height are placed next to each other and that no object that obstruct the visibility between the jumpers at any time.

3 JUMPS PLATFORM

The platforms are installed to 10 m; 7.50 m, 5 m, 3 m and 1 m above the water level.

The front edge of the platform will have a thickness between 0.20 m and 0.30 m and will be vertical or with an inclination not exceeding 10 against vertical inside the hang plumb line.

The surface and the front edge of the platform will be covered entirely of a non-slip surface and elastic. The two surfaces coated will not separately and continuously to achieve a perfect 90º Angle between the two levels
the platform and the edge as described in the previous paragraph.

The front of platforms will be screened or will fly over the edge of the moat jumps a length that will be at least 1.5 m platforms for 10 m and 7.5 m. for 2.60 platforms m-3,00 m and 5.00 m the projection will be at least $1.25 metres and for 0,60-1,00 m the projection will be at least 0.75 m. If a platform is located directly below the other, the upper platform must fly as a minimum 0.75 m and preferably 1.25 m on the lower shelf, however it is better not to build a platform directly beneath another.

The sides and the back of each platform, except the 1 m tall, will be surrounded of balustrades minimum height of 1 m, with minimum separation between bars of 1.80 m, you will have at least two horizontal bars placed outside the platform and beginning to 0.80 m from the front edge of the platform.See contains SAL-1a.

To access each platform there must be some stairs suitable, are not admissible nor scales ladders.

4 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CARRYING STRUCTURE

For the platforms and the carrying structure of the trampolines must be a burden of draft 350 Kilopondios (Kilograms strength) per running meter. For the comfort and safety of the jumpers, in addition to the requirements static, should be considered the following limites movements of the towers in relation to the platforms and the support structure of the trampolines:

The minimum size are mandatory but it is recommended to use the measures described as preferable for facilities high level.

As a reference point using the hang plumb line, which is the vertical line that passes through the middle of the front edge of each springboard OR platform.

The dimensions indicated in the table as “ C ” and that refer to “ from plummet to plummet adjacent ” apply to platforms with widths as shown in the table of point 3. If you increase the widths of the platform, the dimensions "C" should be increased in half-width additional.

It should be noted that, height above the water level of the trampolines and each platform, only may vary between – 0,00 meters and + 0.05 meters in height established in the standard.

6 DIMENSIONS OF THE PIT

The pits of jumps will have a rectangular shape. The types of pit of jumps and its dimensions are in the following table and FiguresSAL-5,SAL-6,SAL-7the choice of type will be based on the calculation of needs of the Area served by the fosse, as well as in the types of competitions that in those glasses will develop.

Nowhere in the depth of the water will be less than 1.80 m and verify that the depth reaches the dimensions H, J, K, L, M, required, in the table in point 5 of dimensions for installations of jumps.

Surface slope of the fund will not exceed 6% and will be as a minimum of 2%, in any of the lines that can rely on him, develops its steepest line perpendicular or parallel to the front wall of the pit.

7 BEACHES Ó PLATFORMS

For the control of the competition, to enable the movement of users around the pit, as well as to separate the water from other areas, develop the den outer bands, beaches or platforms paved throughout its perimeter. The minimum widths of beaches OR platforms, steps from the edge of the water will be 2,00 m and 3.50m recommended. If there are other glasses in the environment as glasses of swimming, education, etc. the distance of separation of both will be at least 5 m. On the edge of platforms and trampolines width will be necessary for the provision of the same its carrying structure and the staircase.

In swimming pools for national and international competitions the minimum width of the beach OR walk for the control of the competition will be 5.00 m.

In swimming pools for International Competitions and for national when includes filming of TV the width of beaches or platforms shall be aligned in addition to this end.

Upon availability stands for spectators, the width shall be aligned to achieve a perfect visibility of the pit from the stands, leaving the space of beaches or platforms for the exclusive use of jumpers, judges, technical staff, etc.

The surface of the beaches or platforms will be horizontal, and will be awaiting at least 2% in direction perpendicular and opposite the glass towards channel of water harvesting perimetral, independent and removed from the glass.

8 SIDEWALLS

9 REBOSADEROS AND ACCESSES TO THE GLASS

All jumps pit must have first kerb - on the sides of their perimeter.

Part of the perimeter of the pit must be dedicated to access to the interior of the water. Can be done by stairs or vertical scales located in the corners of the lateral sides that distance will not exceeding 20 m between them. In the wall under the platforms and trampolines will have access to the stairs pit to facilitate the output of the jumpers.

11 TYPES OF REGALIA

12 WATER

Usable water in a pit of jumps will fulfil the same requirements indicated in the section of the standard swimming NIDE.

The water temperature for training and competition will be 26ºc ± 1ºc

To ensure that the jumpers have a good visual perception of the water surface, there must be a device of water surface roughness under the jump facility.

Can be used inflatable mattresses of security during the learning and training, consisting of the formation of air bubbles from the bottom that are generated through an air compressor and distributed through pipes and air diffusers at the bottom of the glass low drop zones, must have a control system to activate it before the leap and stop when in contact with water.

13 AIR

Ambient air of all indoor pool to include a moat of jumps, must be constantly at a temperature between 2ºc and 3ºc higher than the water in that glass, for technical reasons and physiological, with a maximum of 28ºc. The relative humidity should be between 55% and 70% be advisable to use as a value of design 60%.See the standard swimming NIDE.

14 ILUMINACIÓN
Artificial lighting is uniform and so that does not hinder the vision of the jumpers, judges and viewers and should not cause reflexes in the water. Mark the standard UNE-EN 12193 “ Illumination of sports facilities ” and get the following minimum levels of illumination:

The luminaires should not be placed on the vertical of the water, in exceptional case that are placed in this position must be available gateways for accessing the lights for conservation and maintenance.

For TV broadcasts of color and recording movies requires a vertical illuminance levels of at least 800 lux, however this value can increase with distance from the camera to the object. For more information should consult the mentioned law.

15 FURNITURE FOR JUDGES

There will be necessary furniture for judges to develop their work. The chairs of judges must be at altitudes between 1.50 m and 2.00 m above the water surface.

16 AUTOMATIC EQUIPMENT FOR THE COMPETICIÓN

In all those jumping pits which will hold competitions of Olympic Games, competitions global, continental and national, there must be an automatic equipment to record the results of the competition, aimed at both participants and spectators, according to the rules of the Real Spanish Federation swimming and the international federation of Swimming.
