The Sectoral Conference of sport adopted a new game of 35 million for the autonomous communities
- After the adoption in the council of ministers, the minister of culture and sport, Miquel Iceta, has identified with directors of communities and Ciudades Autónomas the objective, criteria of distribution and amount of new investments
- In particular, of 26 million allocated to the modernization of the sports facilities for to promote their sustainability, and a further 9 million to implement a plan for promoting physical activity and sport for health through digital tools
- With these new investments have been already territorializado a total of 84 billion from the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla, almost 30 per cent of the 300 million euros committed to the sports sector in the recovery Plan, transformation and Resilience
Madrid, 9 may 2022.-The minister of culture and sport, Miquel Iceta, accompanied by the president of the supreme council for sports (CSD), José Manuel Franco, has chaired the meeting of the sectoral conference on Sport. The aim has been the adoption of the territorial distribution and allocation of a new game of 35 million earmarked for the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla to 2022, following the approval of the council of ministers last tuesday.
The meeting, which has taken place at the headquarters of the CSD, has allowed the minister Iceta bring together the trustees autonomous objectives, criteria of distribution and amounts of new investments, framed by 26 “ Component promotion scheme Sport Sector ” of the recovery Plan, transformation and Resilience.
As explained by 26 million euros will be targeted at the modernization of the sports infrastructure of the high performance centres and the network of autonomous governments, to adapt to the criteria of sustainability and energy optimization. Together with 49 million has already issued last year with the same goal, there are thus the 75 million earmarked for the ecological transition of the sports sector.
A further 9 million euros will be targeted to the implementation of a Plan of limitation of activity and exercise, with the aim of making the CC.AA. to develop and implement plans to promote physical activity and sport for health (AFBS) through digital tools. It thus aims to improve the accessibility and effectiveness of the sport systems and health, in addition to intensifying the training of professionals involved. Given its link between sport, health and technology, this investment is in line with the digitalization of axis Component 26.
Finally, it has urged the CC.AA. to propose possible locations for the World cup 2030 in the containment and Portugal España together. The secretary-general of Culture and sport, Víctor Francos, and the director of cabinet of the president of the CSD, Juan Fernández Carnicer, have been designated as government liaison España with the spanish federation of Football.
With these new items, have already been territorializado between the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla a total of eur 84 million. Amounted to almost 30 per cent of the eur 300 million aimed at Promotion scheme, and Sport Sector which is circulated in three directions: the digitization Plan (75 million), the Ecological Transition Plan (146 million) and the Social Plan of sport ($77 million).
