1. DEFINICIÓN TAMAÑO AND TRACK

Speed skating on ice is practiced on a surface of white ice Rink called Long.

The Track consists of two tranches parallel straight and curved two tranches radios equal in the edges forming a ring closed. The skaters perform the race in the opposite direction-clockwise. The Track can be open or closed cover, with two streets of competition. The maximum length of the track is 400 metres and the minimum length 333 1 / 3 meters, measured 50 cm from the inside edge of the track. The curves in the edges will be two semicircunferencias whose inner radius is 25 meters (minimum), 25.5 meters Or 26 meters (maximum).

The width of the inner street for competition must be 4 meters and the external Street will be at least 4 metres and a maximum of 5 m.

The area of should be crossing the entire length of the party line since the end of a curve at the beginning of the other. tracks prior to 1 July 2006 that do not meet these conditions and cannot be increased may only be used for international competitions and events ISU (International Skating Union) with the express consent of the direction of the sporting ISU.

The world cup and championships the ISU should be a track standard of 400 m. The track must have a street of warming of 4 m wide as a minimum, located inside the streets of competition.

The winter Olympics should be in a standard track 400m of ice artificial, inside a building that protects him from inclement weather and wind. The track must have a street of warming of 4 m wide as a minimum, located inside the streets of competition. The interior space of the track should be accessible without having to cross the ice surface of the track. Likewise must have a space for spectators scheduled for an appropriate number of seats for the public, how appropriate spaces sportsmen, judges, authorities, guests, press, television and other media.

The length of a track consists of two straight tranches, the curve by the interior street, the curve on the street outside and the increase by changing the street in each round.

1 / Stretches straight: 2 x to

2 / Curve interior interior street: B x p

3 / Curve interior streets outside: C x p

4 / Increase of Crossing tour: A2 + (track Width) 2 –

Still: length of the straight stretch

R: Radius of the curve interior

B: Radius of the curve interior + 0.50 m

C: Radius of the external curve + 0.50 m

The total length of the runway thus corresponds to the following amount:

Track Length = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4

See

The outer side of cushions padding should be waterproof material and the cut.

) The protection shall be subject correctly so that in case of a clash with it, may not be seriously wounded. outdoor tracks can be used a lot of snow (ice not). if no snow available will be used padded perimeter protection.

In the championships of the Spanish Federation of ice Sports, ISU and in the winter Olympics will be the following additional security measures:

- Will use a perimeter mats padding or other appropriate padding throughout the length of the straights, this is around the outside of the track.

- In the curves will put an extra padding for example an extra set of padding or a layer of some dimensions and a material that provide the same protection.

- In training sessions will also be appropriate protections.

The organizers of these events must supply a technical description of the installation of protections to be reviewed by the technical delegate designated by the ISU for approval.

3. OUTER BANDS

4. DIVISIÓN AND LAYOUT OF THE TRACK

The layout of the track will be in accordance with the

to) OUTPUT LINES OF BOTH

Using different output lines depending on the length of career, one for each street, do not coincide, except in the race 500 m. The line will be colored striped or is perpendicular to the line or its extension, its length is the same street and its width shall not exceed 5 cm.

(b) LINES OF BOTH PRE-SALIDA

Pre-salida lines should be 2 m before output lines.

(c) LINES OF BOTH ARRIVAL

Moves in the line of the track where there is the crossing, one for each street but coincidental, will be perpendicular to the direction of the line, its length will be the same from the streets and its width shall not exceed 5 cm. In the last 5 meters before the finish line must clearly marked every track.

At the track 400m standard output lines and arrival to all distances are perpendicular to the line of arrival. The finish line of the race 1,000 m is placed in the middle of the line of arrival and output lines according to it. For racing of persecution by teams lines of departure and arrival must be placed in the middle of the straights. For the rest will be placed at the end of the line and the starting positions will be set according to them.

d) LÍMITE LÍNEA STREET

Delimit the streets of the track between if width and will not exceeding 5 cm Will Be drawn in the entire length of every street except in the Area of crossing.

e) CROSSING AREA

The area of should be crossing the entire length of the party line since the end of the curve.

(f) BRAKING AREA

Beyond the finish line in the direction of the race, there will be an area in which the broker may curb progressively. ” This area may develop coinciding with the beginning of the curve.

5. HEIGHT OBSTÁCULOS FREE

The height between the ice rink and the nearest obstacle (underside of the roof, hang beam, luminaire, air conditioning duct) should be entirely free and will be such that will allow for the correct development of all the evidence provided. It is recommended that the minimum free height of 6 m.

6. ORIENTACIÓN

The longitudinal axis of the track in outdoor facilities will be N-S admit a variation between N-NE and N-NO. However climatology española is not appropriate for this type of outdoor facilities.

The blades are fixed in the boot only in the front through an axis and a spring, see the push seaccionan, apart, at the end of the drive, the blade the heel of the boot. This is known as ‘ clap 'and that allows greater drive and longer.

The part of the blade that comes into contact with the ice has the form of straight line. The blade of the speed skaters has a length typically 42 - 46 cm for men. The longer the sheet, lamenting his fastest to a point where the length will become an obstacle. The underside of the blade is only about 1mm thick. the lower part of the sheet is only 1 mm thick.

The skates shall not contain any element that violates the rules.

No connection between the see and the skate, or transmission of energy, or information to the skate except from the leg and pie.No allows the blades or the boots are heated externally or artificial. See
