The CSD launches a campaign on social networks to promote healthy sport in summer
The High Council of sports has launched a campaign on social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) to promote sports healthy and safe during the summer. For this, disseminated a series of videos with tips and information during the months of July and August, the run-up to the European sports Week (SED-19), which is celebrated in late September.
Athletes, coaches, technical and physicians are participating in this campaign with its recommendations for sport must be a priority activity of all citizens also during the holiday Season. Their testimonies are the basis to get the whole society the need for physical activity in these months of a fun way and with guarantees.
During the summer is no more hours of light and more free time to practise sport, but high temperatures, sun exposure or dehydration can have a negative impact on our health. Among recommendations which will be disseminated is to avoid the hottest hours of the day, use sunscreen if the activity takes place outdoors or drinking continuously for sports to maintain the balance between what has been drunk and what has been consumed.
European week of sport 2019
Similarly, these actions in networks aim to ‘ activate ’ to citizenship for the week European sports 2019 (SED-19), which reaches this year its fifth edition. Will take place from 23 to 30 September and repeats the slogan # BeActive (I KNOW Active). This is an initiative driven by the European commission to make all Europeans the importance of staying active throughout the year outside the age, sex, status and capacity.
