1 TAMAÑO OF THE AREA OF LAUNCHES

The launch area of javelin consists of the corridor of launches, Arc limit and fall of the device. The corridor have a length between 30 and 36,50 m recommending will never below 33,50 m. In the athletics track is built usually two areas of of throwing spears, located in the centre of each semicircles and with the corridor parallel to the straights. If the length of the corridor exceeds the available space on the semicircle, runs through the track, for which it is necessary to place a removable kerb. 2 OUTER BANDS AND SECURITY

To facilitate the development and vision of the competition by athletes and spectators, as well as security measure bands will be reserved minimum free spaces around the entire perimeter of the sector of falls. Free space around the launch aisle must have a minimum width of 2.50 m. 3 HEIGHT FREE OF OBSTACLES

6 ILUMINACIÓN

In launches of disk, hammer and javelin precautions should be taken to ensure the safety of people, because the object launched can leave the illuminated area and be invisible in part of your flight.

For TV broadcasts of color and recording movies requires a vertical illuminance levels of at least 1,000 lux and 1,400 lux in international competitions, however this value can increase with distance from the camera to the object. For more information regarding vertical illuminance, uniformity, color temperature and Performance index of color must consult the mentioned law.

7 ROUTE OF THE AREA OF LAUNCHES

The layout of the area of launches will agree with drawings

Launch areas javelin should be located in full independence and different location of the remaining athletic fields, with the exception of the possible and partial overlap in their sectors with the fall of launches weight, hammer and disk.

Launch areas javelin will consist of a single corridor and sector or by several corridors and sectors to allow a sports practiced simultaneously.

JAVELIN 9

The javelin is composed of three main parts: a head, a pole and a handgrip of string (encordadura).
